The Delhi Police on Monday raided the office of BlS Management Private limited, which is by far the largest beneficiary of Call Detail Records(CDRs) in the snooping case where four people were arrested on Sunday for allegedly procuring over 4,000 sensitive CDRs. The office of BlS — situated at Barakhamba Road in the national Capital — was raided at 10.45 am on Monday.

“We have seized computers, hard disk and other documents from the office of BlS Management Pvt. ltd but the owners, directors and other top officials of the company are absconding. We have even gone to their homes but they were missing there as well,” said a police official privy to the investigation.

Meanwhile, investigators have found that after the role of former CBI Joint Director has been put under scanner, the website of BlS has been shut down. “After the arrest of two persons from the company and the involvement of former CBI Joint Director, who is a top official of the company, in the case, they have shut down their website completely so that it becomes difficult for us to gather more evidence,” said the police official.

Police further said the accused police constable Narendra Kumar posted at the surveillance cell in DIG office in Kanpur is also being interrogated.

A senior police official said that they have asked for the police custody of the main accused in the case, Jaiveer Singh Rathode, who was sent to judicial custody. “We have asked for the police custody of Rathode and will interrogate him further. We will also confront Rathode and constable Narendra Kumar and will interrogate them together,” said the official. The Crime Branch has currently put 350 snooped numbers out of the entire recovered CDR’s for verification till now.
