Farmers stayed put at Ghazipur border (UP Gate) on 23rd day to mark their protest against the Centre’s new farm laws. Following specific inputs regarding some anti-nationals forces do not keep any explosive items at the movement site and to avoid any kind of untoward incident, the police dog squad also checked the area for unclaimed items and area.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, while addressing the gathering on Friday said the next revolution in the country will be Kisan Kranti, if the Government does not agree to our demands and repeal the laws.
He said the BJP-led Centre Government has launched a campaign to convince the farmers in every district. “Why is the Government setting up camp in the city, this camp should be set up in the village. The farmer whom you want to explain must also hear what you want to explain, we will arrange your forum. The solution will be found only when you come in the middle of the plowman,” said Tikait.
Tikait termed the government as Jungle Raj rule and said that farmers like them should also be part of the traders meet organized in Delhi's FICCI auditorium. Tikait said that the government neither called them to Delhi nor did it come to the villages.
