Wedding photographers of Delhi and Gurgaon have been receiving a shocking request from a man, identifying himself as a garments businessman, to shoot “marital rape” on his first marriage night and inviting them for orgy.
Even more shockingly, the man has also been requesting these photographers to have intercourse with his wife while she is unconscious. A written complaint was filed with the cyber cell of Gurgaon Police over the matter on Saturday evening and police have been trying to identify the man by checking his call and SMS records.
According to wedding photographer Glactin Graces, who filed the complaint with the cyber cell of Gurgaon Police, a man who identified himself as Raj Mehta has been sending SMSs to several photographers from mobile number 9675059988 asking for price quotations for shooting a wedding.
“When we start discussing the details, the gentleman has stated each time that he wants the team to shoot his first night after the wedding… Further messages have been really shocking where he has asked details like ‘helping taking his newly-wed wife’s virginity while she is unconscious’, having the crew members join in sexual activity, this being his ‘teenage fantasy’ and more,” Graces has said in his written complaint.
Similar messages have also been received by many other wedding photographers who have been running a twitter campaign #nabthisperve. Further, when the photographers approached the Sadar Police Station on Saturday morning for filing the complaint, the duty officer “politely” explained to them that there is “no legal process” to approach this as no crime has been committed.
Graces said he was told by the official that “unless these messages were sent to a female photographer, there is no action that can be taken within the current gamut of law”.
