Taking a significant step towards providing solace from parking related menace, the North Municipal Corporation of Delhi (NMC) has launched an Android App and added a feature on its website for online complaint management system, on Monday. This app will offer citizens to register complaints against violations in parking sites.
Preety Agarwal, Mayor of North Delhi while launching the App said that this app would be instrumental in regulating the parking lots in better manner besides the citizens would be able to get better and transparent services by knowing the terms of violations like overcharging, not displaying details on the board, depicting details including rates, name of the contractor, area details of the contractor, usage of hand held device etc.
“This app would empower the citizen and help Municipal Corporation in rendering better parking facilities in a transparent and more regulated manner,” she added.
The citizens can download the app from North DMC portal (http://www.mcdonline.gov.in) and it will also be available on Google play store soon. The complainant can also register the complaint online by using its website http://www.northmcd.com/parking. On this occasion additional Commissioner (revenue) Renu Jagdev and additional deputy Commissioner (R.P. Cell) Ajay Kadian were also present.
