Around 120 outsourced IT employees working at Dr Ram Manohar lohiya Hospital went on strike after their mother company National Informatics Centre (NIC) did not pay salary to its employees on time. The employees working at the hospital went on strike on Monday and demanded wages to be paid to them.
“The strike continued for two hours. We called the officials from NIC and talks were held. They promised to pay the employees and the strike was called off. During the course of the strike, the Out Patient Department slips were manually written by hospital staff instead of the computerized system,” said Medical Superintendent of RMl Hospital Dr HK Kar.
