Strongly condemning the corruption in the Delhi Government, Delhi BJP said the AAP Government called back the staff provided to leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta as “revenge” after the complaint of Premium App Bus Service.
Delhi BJP Satish Upadhyay said the Government has clearly indicated that Opposition and dissent are not acceptable to them. “It tried its best not to give recognition to the leader of Opposition on the basis of its strength in the House but finally it had to do so under the pressure of people. Similarly, it also tried to throttle the media by issuing an order which was withdrawn after being reprimanded by the Delhi High Court. Directions were issued to show the criticism of the Ministers by the media as a crime,” he said.
Upadhyay further said the BJP has been demanding enquiry into the Rs 400 crore DJB scam and raising the issue of recruitment scam, CNG scam Auto Permit scam during Kejriwal Government. leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said the Government’s proposal for dedicated Bus lane on the roads of Delhi indicates towards its rigid attitude. “The BRT Corridor Scheme has failed in Delhi while a similar experiment had failed in Delhi in the year 1990s too. Many experiment of Traffic lane System have failed in Delhi and there is something hidden behind the sudden insistence of Kejriwal Government on dedicated bus lane,” he said.
