After six years of delay, OP Mishra, the additional Secretary of Delhi Government’s Home Department has been promoted as Special Secretary. The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently issued to this effect.
“OP Mishra, DANICS presently working as the Additional Secretary (Home) is re-designated as Special Secretary (Home) with all immediate effect,” read the letter undersigned by the Deputy Secretary of Administration.
As per the sources, Mishra’s promotion was stuck since last six years even after his hard work towards the department as well as his participation in the ‘Smart City’ project.
Further, according to sources, the projects on which Mishra contributed and gave his support and energy when he was in NDMC has now become the ‘Smart City’ Project.
He was also one the main pillar behind the modernization of Forensic Lab of the National Capital.
