If you stay in South Delhi and want to give any information to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South district) BS Jaiswal regarding any crime then you can directly send anonymous complaint to him on his personal e-mail ID now onwards. DCP (South) has made public his two personal e-mail addresses and appealed to people to put their inputs before him.

A senior police officer said that during the last ‘Senior Citizen Forum’ which was held in Defence Colony, Jaiswal informed all the residents, including senior citizens that instead of getting scared and informing local police, now onwards they can directly inform him if they need to report an incident of crime which was running in their area with the connivance of local police and about criminals. “His two e-mail addresses —telldcpsouth@gmail.com and telldcpsouth@yahoo.com — that he will be directly checking,” the officer added.

Police official said after circulating his e-mail to the residents, an anonymous e-mail was received by him on Tuesday from a senior citizen. In her complaint, the victim informed him that 10 incidents of theft had occurred at her house in the last eight months and she never reported the matter to the local police due to some fear. "After receiving the complaint, he immediately directed the local police station and they solved the matter within hours. It was later revealed that one of the victim's relative had stolen her money and other jewellery from her residence," the officer added.

Jaiswal had circulated the e-mail ids through'Jan Sampark Sabha' and Resident Welfare Association (RWA). Efforts are being directed to reach out to the people through media -- by placing advertisements. DCP (South) is also deliberating over a feedback mechanism to get first hand information about the grievance redressal and the actions initiated by the District Police.
