In order to ensure better civic services and fast paced development of Jharoda village, North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Monday announced to provide Rs 10 lakh to the area Councillor from Mayor’s fund.
North DMC Mayor Adesh Gupta during his interactive program ‘Nigam Apke Dwar’ also requested residents to share problems and issues by dialing “Mayor Helpline Number” 9643096430 for fast redressal of their grievances.
The Mayor was informed about the need of anti-mosquito spray, availability of community centre; unauthorised juice and meat shop and toilet block in the area. They also demanded removal garbage from the areas on daily basis.
The Mayor assured them that he would also discuss the issues with the Delhi Government to develop the area.
The Mayor was accompanied by the area Councillor Rekha Sinha, Civil line zone, Chairman Surender Singh Kharab, Deputy Commissioner (Civil lines) Jagdish Chillar.
