All zonal and circles offices of property tax department of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) will remain open on Saturday and Sunday to facilitate the tax payers to pay their property tax or filing self-assessment returns. The property tax offices will remain open from 9 am to 5.30 pm.
North Corporation in a release stated that all property owners or occupiers are advised to pay their property tax and file the property tax returns by June 6.
“Failed in paying before time, an action will be taken against the defaulters as per the legal course which includes penalty, interest, attachment of account and property and may be auction of the property,” it said.
