North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) has extended the last date of payment of property tax upto 31st August 2021 with 15 per cent rebate along with three per cent Covid-19 vaccination incentive for timely payment for the lumpsum payment of the property tax for the year 2021-22.
North Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh said that the decision is taken provide relief to the property tax payers.
The mayor also informed that property tax offices of the civic body will remain open on all Saturdays till 31st August, 2021 (excepted gazetted holiday) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Singh said that extension of date will facilitate the genuine taxpayers who could not do it earlier. On the other hand, the Corporation would get revenue and enthusiasm of the people in vaccination would also increase hence, this decision has been taken in interest of the public, he added.
