The Delhi Jal Board will provide free sewer connections to the original allottees of the newly legalised colonies, Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister Mukesh Sharma said on Friday.
The DJB has given legal sanction to the work by issuing a notification with regard to the colony in Mohan Garden area of Uttam Nagar, said Sharma, who is also a spokesperson of the Congress legislative Party.
Addressing the gatherings at places in his constituency, Sharma said, “The fact that the DJB has issued a notification for the rates at which sewer lines will be laid in unauthorised colonies is a clear indication that the colonies now have legal sanction.”
