Newly-appointed Chairman of all the three authorities-NOIDA-Greater Noida and Yamuna and CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) IAS Praveen Kumar on Wednesday took over the charges and highlighted his priorities.
He directed officials to streamline the work of the authorities and complete all pending projects.
He said, “Homebuyers are suffering after investing in the housing projects. This issue will be resolved soon. I will focus to understand the base of problems and it would be solved after communicating with builders. Some builders have diverted investment in other project and harassing the buyers. Authority will take action against them. Grievance cells of all the three authorities will be kept strong so that residents could not be faced problems. “ Chairman added.
Earlier Additional CEO of YEIDA also took charge as additional CEO of NOIDA.
The Chairman said they would review work and then necessary direction would be given accordingly.
“I am posted in the district as the Chairman of all the three authorities. I hope to resolve all the issues with my best efforts. I will hold meeting with officials to review the projects and schemes of all the authorities,” he said.
He added that the authorities’ of GB Nagar district have plans to boost the industrial sectors. “My first objective would be to expand industrial sectors in this region. I will try to lure investors and investments in these regions. I believed that if industries would grow in GB Nagar district, it would create employment and development in other regions.” the Chairman added.
“Farmers issues should be resolved as soon as possible. It will be my priority to communicate with them. They will get compensation and 5-10 per cent developed land along with other facilities,” Kumar said.
