For the presence of mosquito-genic conditions within the premises of the buildings falling under its jurisdiction, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has issued notice to the Medical Superintendent and director of AIIMS, director of Prithvi Bhawan, managers of YMCA and RBI respectively. The council has also issued notice to the class-VI employees staying on the campus of President Estate.
As per the data available with The Pioneer, till now, the NDMC has issued challans to All India Radio (AIR), Ram Manhor lohia Hospital, lady Hardinge Hospital, Delhi High Court, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan and Civil Aviation, National Buildings Construction Corporation limited, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College at Safdarjung Hospital’s campus, National Art Gallery for the presence of dengue mosquitoes on their premises.
