Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday felicitated the National Cadet Core (NCC) cadets and their Commanding Officers (COs) of Delhi for participating and performing in the Republic Day parade at Rajpath on the occasion of 69th Republic day.
Sisodia also gave away medals, prizes, incitations to the NCC cadets in a function organised by the Directorate of NCC at Delhi Secretariat. Secretary of the Education Department of NCC Puniya S Srivastava and other senior officers of NCC Department were also present on this occasion.
Expressing his gratitude towards the NCC cadets, who participated in the Republic Day parade at Rajpath, Sisodia said “Delhi is proud of you cadets for your participation and showing excellence” at the international event. He further said “you have enhanced the dignity and honour of Delhi in the parade”.
Sisodia said that when one joins any force and bears dress of that force, one owes responsibility and belongingness to that force. “In his message, said that the cadets must always remember three “Ds”- that is Discipline, Devotion, and Dedication for achieving the Goal,” Said Sisodia.
