Khattar had asserted that the offering of Namaz in the open cannot be tolerated and the need to find an amicable solution.

The CM had said that the government has withdrawn the designated places permission given to offer Friday prayers at certain sites. Offering public prayers is leading to clashes and that should not happen. Earlier, Hindu and Muslim organisations had agreed on 18 new sites for open namaz prayers include 12 mosques, dargah, waqf board properties and six public areas.

However, there were again disruptions of ‘Jumma’ prayers were reported in Gurugram. Some Hindu groups refused to allow Friday Namaz in Udyog Vihar industrial area on Friday and force Muslim community people to chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' which led to verbal spat between the two groups.
