Mutilated body of an unidentified man was found on a road in South-east Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area on early Friday morning. According to a senior police official, the body was found wrapped in a blanket and was tied with a rope. However, the feet chopped off were found metres away from the body. This is the third instance in a week when unidentified and mutilated bodies have been found on roadside in South and Southeastern parts of Delhi.

A senior police official said, they received a PCR call around 6.25 am when a passerby spotted the body on the Mangal Bazaar road at Peepal chowk. In the preliminary investigation, it appears that the deceased is in his late 30s.

Police said they have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the IPC against unknown persons at the Sangam Vihar police station.
