South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has started constructing an automated multi-level car parking at F-block market, Rajouri Garden. The five floored multi level parking will have capacity to accommodate 200 cars. SDMC Mayor Narender Chawla said that the parking will have electric control system, monitoring system, elevator, lift lobby and reliable fire safety system. “It has been decided to add parking capacity for another 3500 cars in various localities,” he said. The civic body has already made five parking lots operational at Munirka, Rajouri Garden, New Friends Colony, Kalkaji and Malviya Nagar with total parking capacity of 1500 cars.
