A yoga teacher has been arrested for molesting three of his minor students in East Delhi’s Vasundhara Enclave area. The accused, Pankaj Saxena (35), was arrested on Monday after a victim’s parents approached police and lodged a complaint with New Ashok Nagar Police Station.
Saxena has been booked under Section 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Section 354 (outraging the modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to police, the incident took place on Friday inside the school where Pankaj is a part-time employee. On Friday, he misbehaved with one of the girls, whose parents complained to the school authorities and only then it was revealed that he had committed the same with two other girls. local police officials raided Pankaj’s residence and arrested him. He was produced before the concerned court and sent to Tihar in judicial custody.
