Modi will never make you VP of India: Kejriwal to l-G
Published on:

Days after accusing lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung of snooping for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Delhi CM and Minister, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday shot a stinging letter with an advice for the l-G, telling him that even if he bends rules for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he would not be made the Vice-President of the country.

In the letter to the l-G, seeking to offer a “small suggestion” as Jung’s “younger brother”, Kejriwal went on to write, “Do as much unconstitutional, illegal and anti-people work as you want at the behest of Modiji, but he will never make you the vice president.”

He tweeted, ‘’Modiji won’t make u vice-president even if u flout law for him.’’ On the other hand, reacting on Kejrwal’s letter, the l-G said he feels sorry for his paranoia.

Also, Kejriwal alleged that both Jung and Prime Minister Modi are scrutinising his Government’s work by ordering random probes by the ACB and the CBI without any evidence.  “I want you to know that only yesterday the Government has inaugurated  a 100-seater medical college. I want to request you to ask your ACB team to lodge an FIR and get it investigated. Kindly also tell Prime Minister Modi to get a raid done on Health  Minister Satyender Jain for committing the crime of completing the  medical college in a record time,” Kejriwal wrote.

The CM wrote in the letter, ‘’We are working for the well-being of people. No matter how many obstacles you bring in.”

Kejriwal stated that he was among a few people who are meant to serve the mankind, “struggle and construct” while the rest are tasked with destructing and putting spanners on every good work. “You and Modiji fulfill your duties. We will be awaiting your and  Modiji’s ACB and CBI,” he said.

The AAP chief and Jung have clashed repeatedly on matters of jurisdiction in governing the national Capital since the party stormed to power in 2015.

last week, quoting news reports about a “confidential” letter written by Jung to principal secretary to PM, Nripendra Mishra, Kejriwal tweeted, “Shocking! lG snooping on CM and Ministers. Who visits CM and ministers - lG secretly collecting this information and informing PMO.”  However, sources at Raj Niwas rubbished the snooping allegations made by Kejriwal.
