The case of alleged gangrape of a17-year-old Delhi girl in Rajasthan’s Jaipur has put the Delhi Police on toes. The cops suspect that a racket of MMS clips is being run by gang members after the girl told the investigating officers that her ordeal was recorded on the mobile phone by the accused.
Police suspects that some people also recorded the grisly crime secretly from a hole on the door of the hotel room. Also, investigators spotted a hole on the doors.
Police suspects that the racket was being run for the last several months. “The gangsters were using the hotel rooms for keeping girls where they were raped by customers also,” said police.
During the interrogation, gang members told police that they used to lure girls from various parts of the country. “They would target the girls who were in dire need of money. They forced the girls in the trade and in return they give them the money as well,” said police.
The couple who was nabbed in the case is suspected to have forced many girls in human trafficking and prostitution racket. To get to the depth of the story, police have also called the owner of the hotel to join the probe.
Officials said the Jaipur Hotel where the girl was confined and raped by several persons is infamous for sex racket. A few months ago, Jaipur police had conducted raid in connection with the sex trade.
Also, police have collected CCTV footage from near the hotel room to see the movement of the people in the hotel.
