Panic has gripped prospective applicants to Delhi University as there is still no clarity regarding the admission process for the Bachelors in Media Studies (BMS) course. While university officials are still sitting on the matter, there has been confusion in the open day sessions, which are almost nearing the end.
The basic guidelines regarding the evaluation of applicants was released by the Department of Management Studies recently which stated that 50 per cent of weightage will be given to the entrance examination and 50 per cent to the Class XII marks of the student. However, after that no notice regarding the entrance examination or the procedure for application has come out as on date. Students at the open day sessions have perennially been confused about this issue. On the sixth day of the open house on Tuesday many parents even questioned as to why the university had still not made a decision on it.
