Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor in the letter said the MPD 2041 introduced a recent provision about redevelopment of the walled city that has caused panic among traders in the area.

The BJP leader said traders have vastly contributed to development of Delhi but they are being threatened with redevelopment of areas

He has requested the Minister to call a meeting of prominent trader associations of the walled city to understand their perspective on the future of trade in the walled city.
