The accused has been identified as Axat Gulia alias Akshit alias Akshay, a native of Jhajjar, Haryana.
According to Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Special Cell, Gulia was arrested on January 23 after police received a tip off that the accused was hiding in his friend's office at Baghdola village in Dwarka.
"A raid was conducted at his friend's office in Dwarka. When police team tried to apprehend Gulia, he fled away, however, the officials chased him for about 500 meters and overpowered him.
