A man was allegedly stabbed to death by two persons in full public view in West Delhi’s Khyala area on Tuesday afternoon. Investigators said that the victim kept begging for help but instead of offering help, they made videos of the victim bleeding profusely.
Akbar Ali, the deceased, was a welder by profession. On Tuesday, he got into a heated argument with one Mohd Shubhan (20) and Mohd Abzal (24). Police said that two criminal cases are registered against the deceased. “As per the allegations levelled by the accused, Akbar Ali used to harass them. Meanwhile, family members of Akbar Ali claim that it was a pre-meditated murder and that one of the accused suspected Ali to be in an illegitimate relationship with his wife,” said an officer.
The two men repeatedly stabbed Ali. Bleeding profusely on the ground, investigators said that the victim begged for water and called for help from the locals who had gathered around him. People instead shot videos of Akbar Ali lying in a pool of blood.
After more than an hour passed when a passerby stopped by to check what happened and he, then, made a call to the Police Control Room. The victim was initially rushed to the Guru Gobind Singh hospital. However, due to serious injuries, he was referred to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Vijay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) said, “Two persons have been arrested. The accused are Mohd Shubhan (20) and Mohd Abzal (24).”
