A 40-year-old man was booked by the Delhi Police  on Tuesday for allegedly sending a 'porn video clip' to the wife of a retired Army officer in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj. Police said investigations in the matter is on and the accused has not been arrested yet.

According to a senior police official, the accused has been identified as AK Mehta, who is the former chairman of Vasant Kunj federation and lives in D block of Vasant Kunj.

"The complainant alleged that she knew Mehta as she was member in Residents’ Welfare Association of her block and the accused is the former chairman of Vasant Kunj federation. She further said she used to meet Mehta for social welfare causes," said the police official.

But to her surprise when she received the 'porn video clip' from the accused, she could not believe it and was completely taken aback, said the official.

"The victim told us that she had received the porn video on her mobile from the accused. She also complained that the video was almost four and a half minutes and very obscene in nature," said the police official.

After receiving the video clip the victim waited for a day and then went to the Vasant Kunj (North) police station and complained. She said she was mentally distressed by the action of the accused as she never thought that Mehta would indulge in such an activity.

"We registered a case under section 509( word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of women) of the Indian Penal Code read with section 67 and 67A of the Information Technology Act against the accused but have not arrested him yet as further investigation in the matter is on," said the police official.
