The accused persons have been identified as     Aman Kumar Jha (30), resident of Delhi's Inder Enclave and his brother in law, Aman Tiwari (20) a resident of Jamshedpur's Tata Nagar. The complainant contacted his friend Ajay Kumar for help who called the unknown caller and tried to negotiate the extortion amount. But he was later, asked to pay Rs 2.5 crores instead of 50 lakhs" said the DCP.

"A First Information Report was registered and investigation was taken up. During investigation, a police team tracked the location of the unknown callers. Subsequently raids were conducted and the accused were arrested on April, 7 from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand," said the DCP.

"During interrogation the accused Aman Kumar Jha revealed that, he has no job and his wife is living in her parental home at Jamshedpur. He was very upset in need of money. He along with his brother in law executed this plan to extort money from the complainant" said the DCP adding that further investigation is going on and police have recovered the phone and SIM card used in crime.
