Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) in Delhi has been ranked as the best dental institution amongst Government and private dental institutes in the country,
Reacting to the development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said “In the last six years, the Aam Aadmi Party Government has made a lot of investment in health infrastructure. As a result, Government hospitals in Delhi are better than private hospitals today.”
“Delhi Government health infrastructure is being talked about all over the world today. This is also the reason why Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences has stood first in the category of dental colleges.
Now, the confidence of the people in the Government system has increased,” he said.
The institution was ranked the best in an independent survey carried out by a prestigious media group.
“The institution believes that getting first rank is a big achievement but being ranked number one is usually a remarkable feat not only for any ideas but for the entire government of Delhi. The institute humbly believes that this achievement is another feather in the cap and a big moment that needs to be applauded by all. The institute pledges to serve the citizens of Delhi even during the pandemic period with increased zest and zeal and take the Institute to further heights,” the office of the minister of health said in a statement.
Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendra Jain congratulated MAIDS on this accomplishment with immense pride and said, “This is indeed an event of pride for us and proves the relentless working of MAIDS and the way it worked in a synchronised manner with the Delhi Government.”
