Referring to the security alert that had sent Delhi into a tizzy, Yadav stated, “In view of the input, the Delhi Police heightened its vigil near iconic buildings and military installations in the national Capital and security arrangements were stepped up near prominent malls, hospitals, schools and colleges in the city.”
The Delhi Police top brass officers including Special Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners were asked to maintain security check in the areas under their jurisdiction.
