Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate on Friday set up a magisterial enquiry into the tragic accident involving two school buses and an auto in which two persons — an IT engineer and an auto driver — died on Thursday morning.
The magistrate enquiry had been formed under the supervision of city magistrate and district magistrate who will investigate the incident.
“We have asked Noida magistrate Bachchu Singh to investigate the matter and submit the report within 15 days,” the hDM said. Also, the DM has directed the ARTO to conduct enforcement drive against the buses and ensure that all the school buses follow the prescribed Supreme Court guidelines.
Preliminary probe said the tragic accident shows that there was gross traffic violation which led to the death of two persons. The district magistrate said the city magistrate will investigate all the issues and action will be taken against the defaulters.
