Expressing deep grief at the tragic accident at Gazipur sanitary landfill site on Friday, leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta expressed condolence at the loss of valuable lives.
He urged Mayor of East Delhi Municipal Corporation Neema Bhagat to expeditiously grant adequate compensation to the affected families. Gupta also urged her to ensure job for dependant of the deceased.
Vijender Gupta asked Commissioner EDMC Ranvir Singh to ensure that such accidents don't recur. "All the concerned agencies will have to find out permanent solution to the problem of SlFs in Delhi to avert such tragedies in future," he said.
