loP Gupta blames Govt for poor Class IX results

Alleging the Delhi Government of misleading Delhiites by issuing full page advertisements, leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta wrote a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday asking him to place full facts why the Delhi Government failed to check so many students failing in Class IX.

“It is mischievous on the part of the Kejriwal Government to blame the Centre for failure of more than one lakh Class IX students. The Government has to answer why it is claiming in the same advertisement that it has made significant improvement in Government schools,” Gupta wrote.

He further asked, what has the Government done to prevent more than one lakh students from failingIJ “In fact, the tall claims of the Government about improvement in the field of education are hollow,” he  said.

He further alleged that the Kejriwal Government is “guilty” of not seeking “prior approval” for the Bills passed in the Vidhan Sabha.

“The failure is not due  to delay on the part of Union Government in approving the Education as well other 13 Bills but the deliberate, planned and sustained violation of the laid down rules, regulations and the constitutional provisions by the Kejriwal Government itself,” he added.

Gupta wondered how Manish Sisodia can charge the Centre for withholding approvals to 14 such Bills of public interest passed by the Delhi Assembly.
