Delhi BJP has questioned the "logic" of the AAP Government's decision to call a session of the Assembly on demonetisation and accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of indulging in "political drama" over the issue. leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta condemned in strong terms the dramatic manner in which special session has been convened. "Convening of special session by the Delhi Government, without duly informing the members, despite Monday being public holiday, is totally in violation of dignity and decorum of the House. Kejriwal who talks about corruption and black money now started opposing the demonetisation policy. This reflects something fishy. Kejriwal has no moral right to talk about corruption and black money. He has been exposed," Gupta said.
He added that the AAP which came to power in the name of ending corruption has taken no step to eradicate it during last 20 months of their rule. It looks like that the Delhi Government is betraying the people of Delhi as the AAP has joined hands with corrupt rather than being anti-corruption.
"One fails to understand the logic of calling Delhi Vidhan Sabha session on the issue of demonetisation. Kejriwal has often called Vidhan Sabha sessions on issues with no relation to Delhi Government as a part of his political Nautanki (drama)," said Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay.
