Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal, and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday paid condolences to the two Delhi Police assistant sub-inspectors (ASI) who died of coronavirus infection.
Baijal in a tweet said, "Extremely saddened at the death of two Delhi police bravehearts in the line of duty. Their untimely demise is (a) great loss for Delhi Police. Supreme sacrifice made by them in (the) fight against Covid-19 will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families,"
Delhi police on Monday also paid homage to two members of its staff, "who made the greatest sacrifice in this fight against COVID", calling them "corona warriors".
Kejriwal saluted the brave ASIs and said the entire Delhi is with their families in the pain.
