l-G's speech ho-hum: lovely

Terming it lacklustre speech by lieutenant-Governor, Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh lovely said on Monday that the speech was against the hopes of the people of Delhi and the speech prepared by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had no directions to the policies for the all round development in the national Capital.

“Nor was there any direction to make the Delhi Government administration more progressive resulted,” he said. The Congress accused the AAP of running away from its election manifesto promises as the common people were upset with the speech of the l-G.

In a joint statement issued by lovely and senior Congress leader Mukesh Sharma, they alleged that hope with which the people of Delhi voted for the AAP had been dashed as the AAP proved in its first policy document that it had no road map to give relief to the people.

“They are looking for cheap publicity by making new policy statements, but no step was initiated to implement any of its announcements. AAP Govt warning to suspend the licence of the pvt distribution companies was evident that it wanted to call these power distribution companies to its side,” they said.
