leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, along with BJP MlAs OP Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan, on Thursday met lt Governor and apprised him of irregularities committed by AAP leaders, officials of the Transport Department of Delhi Government and large number of middlemen in the recent auto permit allocation and Public Distribution System.
“The lt Governor assured us that the issues raised by it will be referred to CBI for investigation. We informed him how scams in these two vital sectors have deprived poor auto drivers, SC/ST and OBC category aspirants of auto rickshaw permits and poor consumers of ration system,” said Gupta.
“Only three officials have been placed under suspension in auto rickshaw scam whereas the Government has not deemed it fit to order inquiry into ration system irregularities. Kejriwal himself had assured of CBI inquiry into the matter of auto permits. We have sought time from the Chief Minister to meet him regarding auto rickshaw scam,” he added.
