A body of 4-year-old boy, who was allegedly kidnapped in December 2016, was found stuffed inside a box on neighbour’s terrace in Garima Garden area of Sahibabad on Sunday morning. Police said they are investigating the case.
Police said the body was found in a box placed on the terrace of the neighbouring house. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Zaid Mohommad, who was allegedly kidnapped from outside his house in lane number 3 of Garima Garden.
“On Saturday evening, the light cover of the wooden box was blown due to a light storm. While on Monday when a boy, who was playing on the terrace, peeped inside the box and he found the body. After which he raised an alarm and then the owner of the house informed the police,” said a senior police officer. The body was found in an extremely rigid condition and it seems that the body was hid inside the box after killing him, police said.
The deceased’s house is adjacent to where the body was found. The family members of the deceased were informed about the incident.
