Delhi BJP on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Deputy Commissioner of Police Cyber Cell against a Cartoon tweeted by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday depicting Hanumanji as a demon or a political activist.
The complaint states that the Cartoon Tweet has hurt the sentiments of crores of Hanuman devotees.
Citing the cyber laws and other legal provisions in the complaint, BJP Media Incharge Praveen
Shankar Kapoor said, “Such misuse of social media instrument like twitter is bad at law too. Therefore, Delhi Police Cyber Cell should investigate the matter and lawful action be taken against those who made the
cartoon and promoted it including the Chief Minister Kejriwal.”
