Kejriwal trolled for backing loss of J&K’s full statehood

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been locking horns with the Centre over his demand for full statehood to the national Capital, has come under attack from his former partymen and some netizens for supporting Centre’s decision which scrapped Article 370 on Monday to reduce Jammu & Kashmir to a Union Territory with an Assembly like that of Delhi.

Kejriwal tweeted, “We support the Govt on its decisions on J&K. We hope this will bring peace and development in the State.” After the post, twitterati flayed Kejriwal for supporting the Centre and questioned his credibility of demanding full Statehood for Delhi. Autonomy of Delhi was one of the key issues of the AAP in poll campaign.

Criticising AAP convener Kejriwal, disqualified AAP MLA Kapil Mishra posted a video titled ‘marta kya na karta’. In the video, Mishra trolled Kejriwal by saying the support was necessary for the AAP, otherwise the people of Delhi would throw him outside the border.

Another tweet was from disgruntled AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, “Are you tweeting with the heavy heart, dwarf? When we made a video in support of the Army, then you were conspiring against us, what happened now? Trash of history is waiting for every traitor.”

Founder of a fact-checking website AltNews, Pratik Sinha (@free_thinker) tweeted, “Next time don’t complain about the Centre not allowing Delhi to function through undemocratic means”.
