The Congress on Wednesday lambasted Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his demand of printing images of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi on currency notes.
Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said, “He is B team of BJP & RSS. He doesn't have any understanding. It is his vote politics. If he goes to Pakistan, he can also say that I am Pakistani, so vote for me.”
Meanwhile, State Congress president, Anil Kumar termed the move as “low-level politics” saying that Kejriwal was bringing in Hindu deities in his political gambit to violate the secular credentials of the country.
Kumar said that he had assumed the Constitutional post of CM of Delhi by swearing in on the secular principles enshrined in the Constitution, and he has lost all moral and ethical rights to remain as the CM and should resign forthwith.
