Kejri's a 'sorry' sight in Maken's eyes

Dismissing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s apology for carrying on with his rally despite a farmer’s suicide, Delhi Congress on Friday said that it was not enough and that Kejriwal needs to introspect why such a situation was allowed to develop.

In a related development, Delhi Youth Congress leaders on Friday submitted a complaint with Delhi Police against AAP leaders including Chief Minister and deputy Chief Minister.

Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken asked how many times Kejriwal is going to apologiseIJ “When he quit the 49-day Government, he apologised and today again, he is apologising. He needs to introspect. Tendering an apology won’t suffice… He has to give it a thought why such a situation cropped up, what were the lacunas in organising the rally, what could have been done,” he said.

On Kejriwal’s charges against the media in connection with the coverage of the incident, Maken said the AAP convener should stop leveling allegations against the media and instead focus on his style of working.

“He is blaming media, but he went on giving speech to be seen in the same media. He should come out of allegations counter allegations and introspect. He should improve his style of working,” Maken said.
