Taking a jibe at the ongoing conflicts within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), senior BJP leader Vijender Gupta on Friday said the war of words between Arvind Kejriwal and Yogendra Yadav in full public view had exposed the party. “Since AAP’s inception, one was the face of the party while the other micromanaged it from behind. After the poll debacle, the blame game between the two has begun. Manish Sisodia’s strongly worded letter to Yadav has brought out the privately discussed fissures in the small coterie of AAP leadership,” Gupta said.
The former Delhi BJP president referred to Sisodia’s wherein he has admitted that contesting the lok Sabha polls on 434 seats was a blunder. He accused the AAP of deceiving the people of Delhi for satiating their hunger for power overnight. “Their (AAP) ambitious bid to capture power overnight prompted them to deceive the people of Delhi in the most unholy fashion. After the monumental defeat, the AAP supremo, Arvind Kejriwal, took a series of U-turns. Even after declaring that the party will not form Government and go for fresh election, reports are emerging that their MlAs are in talks with Congress to form Government in Delhi,”
Gupta charged.
