The family of 19-year-old Karan Pandey finally heaved a sigh of relief on Friday after the report of magisterial enquiry into his death released. Manju Pandey, mother of Karan Pandey said that it seems she is now a step closer to get justice delivered for her son.
“They finished me when they finished my son. From the beginning I had been stating that my son was not wrong. I will soon meet the Commissioner of Police on Saturday to get a case registered against errant police inspector Rajneesh Parmar, constable Amar Singh and Sudarshan Kumar for hatching a conspiracy and killing my son” Manju said. She also demanded that now it is clear that the police was at fault, justice should be done and the case must fast tracked. “If the case is not registered within 24 hours then we will sit on a dharna outside the Police headquarters,” said Sunil Kumar, Karan’s uncle.
