Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress (DPYC) activists held a massive protest against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal against the release of the juvenile convict in Nirbhaya rape case. The protest outside his residence of Kejriwal was held under the leadership of DPYC President Amit Malik.
Scores of Youth Congress activists marched towards Kejriwal’s residence shouting slogans against him. “DPYC protest was to remind CM Arvind Kejriwal about the promises he made to the people of Delhi on the issue of rape and within 9 months of his rule, there has been increase in the number of rapes day by day,” said Amit Malik.
Accusing Kejriwal Government of fooling the people of Delhi on the rape issue, Malik alleged that a special session in Vidhan Sabha on the DDCA scam shows that Kejriwal and his Government are more interested in “doing revenge
politics”.
“CM should wake up and finish his self-centered politics and concentrate more on issues which are important for the people of Delhi. He had promised that he will see to it that the justice is brought to Nirbhaya and her parents and till now he has done nothing for that,” he added.
