After the Delhi high court passed an order to revaluate the Delhi Judicial Services Exams (DJS), a new cut-off list has been presented on Tuesday where 65 more candidates have been shortlisted for the mains exam.
Earlier, 849 candidates were shortlisted out of 8,534 candidates who appeared for preliminary exams. Now it has increased to 914.
The revaluation took place after the Delhi High Court ordered to delete four questions from the DJS (Delhi Judicial Services) Examination 2015 question paper as they were ambiguous in nature following a writ petition filed by the candidates who appeared for the exam and could not clear it.
The mains of the DJS exams will be conducted on July 9 and 10. The exam was conducted to fill 80 vacancies of district and sessions judge of Delhi.
Advocate Prashant Manchanda who is a counsel of one of the petitioners said, “Our plea was to stay the examination and to revaluate the entire question paper and answer keys and thereafter delete those questions which are inappropriate.”
Two petitions were filed by some of the candidates, challenging four questions in the preliminary examination which were ambiguous in nature.
