Education of children in values is the most important step to ensure that the future generation of the country becomes model citizens.
This education needs to be given at home and in schools, said former President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
Speaking at the foundation day of ‘The Foundation for Restoration of National Values’ (FRNV), Mukherjee said, “I am extremely happy that the FRNV has embarked on preparing manuals for training of teachers in value education and they propose to get these accepted by State Governments,” he said.
The president further said that providing training to teachers and introducing such courses is very noble task and I hope the Government of India and the State Governments accept and implement these courses on value education”.
