A 22-year-old man, in inebriated condition on Friday morning allegedly rammed his Mercedes car into a barricade near North Block in central Delhi.
A senior police official said that the accused was not in his senses at the time of the incident. It will be ascertained after the medical examination about the substance under the influence he was.
Police said preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was having a party in Dwarka. He disclosed that the car belonged to his uncle.
On Friday around 6 am, he rammed the car at a barricade near North Block. He was caught at the spot.
