State-level Philatelic Exhibition starts on Feb 15
The Delhi Postal Service is organising the eighth State-level Philatelic Exhibition which has been named as ‘Utsav-2016’. The event will be held from February 15 to February 17 at National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan. The postal service has invited Delhiites to attend the festival.

A survey by matrimonial website jeevansathi.com has revealed that spending is a matter of competition between men and women while planning to celebrate the day with their valentine. Responses from more than 1,800 people across India, revealed startling facts on how people plan to celebrate the “Day of love” on February 14. About 40% respondents answered that spending was a competition with their partner with men constituting 43% and women 28%. This percentage rose up to 45% in non-metros as compared to 30% in metro cities. On being asked what men and women both expected as a Valentines day’s gift from each other, men had a clear idea about the gifts. Flowers, jewellery, clothing and accessories and weekend trips were some of the gifts women felt they should get and men answered these questions correctly in the survey. On the other hand, women respondents answered that men would also like customised gifts and fragrances on the day while most of the men responded that they would like to receive electronics/gadgets and jewellery apart from flowers, clothing and weekend trips.
