Illegal parking of trucks in Kaushambi residential area has created a big nuisance and it must be checked, Ghaziabad administration has admitted.
In a letter to the District Magistrate, a copy of which is in possession of The Pioneer, Additional DM Preetie Jaiswal has sought cancellation of registration of heavy motor vehicles which are being illegally parked in the service lane of Kaushambi residential locality in violation of National Green Tribunal orders.
The officer also mentioned that the residents had filed a complaint before the green court and the Allahabad High Court over illegal parking and poor civic amenities, and both the court and the tribunal had ordered that the area be cleaned.
Jaiswal said that she found over 100 trucks parked in the service lane of Kaushambi, alongside Pacific Mall and all the side lanes of site IV industrial area.
