In the first high-level official meeting, Delhi Cabinet has decided that first Delhi Assembly session will be held from February 24 and will continue for three days.

Announcing role and new responsibilities, Kejriwal said that all free schemes will continue for next five years.

"All the earlier schemes including 200 units of electricity, 20,000 litres of water, women's free rides in buses, elderly pilgrimage schemes will also continue in the new government," a Delhi government official said.

When asked why he has not handled any department this time, CM said, "My first and foremost commitment is to the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi have delegated me with major responsibility, and I have not held any portfolio this time so that I can fulfill this responsibility efficiently. I believe that I ought to look at the broader vision rather than being stuck in the nitty-gritty of a particular department."
